Financial Information

From its beginnings in 2003, The International 22q11.2 Foundation, Inc. which has been granted tax-exempt status under IRS Code 501(c)(3),  has raised more than $560,000, through the end of 2011.

Primary funding sources include:

• Foundations (including, The Ryan and Jenny Dempster Family Foundation and The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation)
• Major Donors
• Individual Donors participating in the Tell 22 campaign; annual Stock Contest campaigns; and
• Miscellaneous events, silent auctions and other avenues.

Expense categories for our most recent fiscal year resulted in the following percentages:   

Please note that for every dollar donated at least 80 cents goes to supporting children and families affected by 22q11.2 DS.
