PHOENIX SUNS’ DEVIN BOOKER RECEIVES NOVEMBER NBA CARES COMMUNITY ASSIST AWARD PRESENTED BY KAISER PERMANENTE

NBA and Kaiser Permanente to Donate $10,000 to the International 22q11.2 Foundation

Excited to share the news…

The Phoenix Suns’ Guard Devin Booker was just named the NBA’s “Community Assist Award presented by Kaiser Permanente” winner for November 2019! The NBA Cares Community Assist Award is presented each month to a different player across the league in recognition of a player’s outstanding efforts who best reflects the passion that the league and its players share for giving back to their communities. Devin has chosen the International 22q Foundation as the recipient of the award’s grant – $10,000 from the NBA and Kaiser Permanente, and a feature on the NBA site as well, as a kickoff to his charitable outreach to help raise awareness of 22q11.2 deletion and duplication syndromes.
