2018 has been a very full year!
We were humbled to celebrate 15 years of hope, support and awareness, through our Foundation. We have had tens of families share their inspiring 22q stories, thousands of families attend 22q events like 22q at the Zoo, several medical board members recognized in multiple medical journal entries related to 22q11.2 conditions, and lots of press attention on awareness events around the globe, including “luces por el 22q” which illuminated 25 monuments in RED in Spain under the leadership of Asociacion Sindrome 22q to support awareness. We’ve also found a champion in The United States who unselfishly made the decision to support our Foundation to show his love for his niece, who has 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome, drawing us all closer together to celebrate recognition of the condition and stand UNITED in cheering for his success on and off the field each Sunday — we are truly grateful for all of the awareness brought to the forefront in 2018.
As we draw closer to the holidays, we wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every one of you, our 22q families, friends, our Board of Directors, our supporters, our sister organizations and educators, medical professionals and therapists for your continued support!
The International 22q Foundation was proud to assist hundreds of patients with 22q11.2 deletion and duplication and their families in 2018 with general information, 22q education, and referrals for care. It is the generosity of our donors that makes this important work possible, each and every day.
We are UNITED in our mission to spread awareness. With awareness, comes recognition of the condition and early intervention, and research which leads to the best quality of life for our families. Stories like those shared throughout the year continue to inspire and help us to focus on our work to support families in need. As always, we need YOUR help. Because of your ongoing generous support, we are able to reach more families with 22q11.2. With the International 22q Foundation in their corner, parents can navigate their child’s first years with more certainty, more celebration, and more clarity. Please consider a year-end donation to enable us to provide the same level of support to more families coping with 22q11.2 deletion or duplication. Your tax-deductible gift will make a lasting impact in the lives of patients and families in need.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 before year-end. Would you be willing to make a special year-end donation of $50, $100 or whatever you can afford to help meet this goal and serve more families? You can even make a monthly contribution, if that is easier for you — please check out your options on our donation page. Click here to make your donation now!
Thank you in advance for your consideration. Here’s to a wonderful holiday season and best wishes for Happy and Healthy 2019!

Board President, and 22q Parent
